All Herding Breed Dog Rescue of Illinois is a state licensed, non for profit, 501c3, rescue group. We are an all-volunteer organization that operates solely on donations.

Our Mission

• We rescue dogs from high kill shelters that euthanize. We bring the dogs into safety, have them vetted, feed them a proper diet, train and exercise them until we reach our goal of finding them new homes and matching them up with forever families. (Vetting includes: Spay/Neuter, Micro-chip, Current vaccinations, Heart worm preventive, Flea/Tick preventive (Seasonally)
• We will also rescue and re-home owner surrenders facing hardship no longer able to care for their herding dog.
• Our goal is to help reduce the animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering and educating the public of its importance.
• We are strong advocates against animal suffering, abuse and neglect. We teach the importance of proper care, training and socialization for a humane world.

We are a volunteer based rescue. All members involved have the same each dog we rescue their second chance.

How to Help

All Herding Breed Dog Rescue of Illinois is a state licensed, non for profit, 501c3, rescue group. We help all herding dogs; including the ones that come in heart-worm positive. We give them medication, the tender loving care and the quiet rest they need to recover so that they can be adopted too. Treatment does get costly.
